Reasons not to choose Christ.

We live in a forever changing culture with many opposing worldviews. It has consistently grown further removed from the truth. Our society is a fast-paced evolution that defines itself increasingly with a satanic worldview. However, even the slightest mention of the name of Jesus has a power that cannot be denied. Individual non-Christian worldviews have tried and failed to discredit the Bible as a false prophecy filled with myths that defy logic. Claims made by cults and religious fanatics have emerged throughout time that depict Christians as crazy and delusional. In the history of Christianity individuals have used the Bible to create insanity through cults, war crimes, and personal gain, but if true believers are treating others as Jesus describes and following the Word of God, this will never be the case. Being Christ-like means to lead with love and humility.

A person's emotions make up a high percentage of their decision-making skills. I know from personal experience that the death of someone close to you can cause division between God and yourself. Often, individuals blame God for events and heartaches that are deemed incomprehensible. It is normal to feel different emotions when something tragic happens, but God has a reason even if we cannot understand it at the time. Fear is also a defining reason non-believers choose not to commit to God. As humans we seek validation in others around us. This instinct causes us to feel ashamed by the choice to follow Christ. We naturally fear what others might think about our decision to make lifestyle changes that glorify God. In our society, especially as a man, we are taught from an early age not to show emotion or feelings. This teaching makes submitting to Christ difficult for the broken heart that is crying out for help.

Morality is a concept of time, in which humanity consistently lies to itself about having more than less. I will get saved tomorrow or turn a new leaf when I am older. We reiterate to ourselves and to God that we need to have fun while we are young because a Christian lifestyle is not favorable. This need for self-gratification stems from the root of sin itself. Satan knows the very desires of every human heart. He and his legion are working double time to addict us to the pleasures of life on earth. Monetary success, sex, drugs, and alcohol can all be used as weapons in the arsenal of Satan to cloud the mind and drive a stake between God and us. “The problem is that all people are born sinners and sin separates them from God” (Weider). Being a Christian can be exhilarating if we make it that way through worship, ministry, and when we seek dynamic ways to exercise our faith.

If you are educated, you should not believe in an imaginary being that is solely responsible for the entire universe. This is a statement used by many throughout higher educated fields of study. It runs parallel with the emotion of fear over the unexplained. However, it is openly taught and accepted that the universe exploded into existence out of thin air. The truth is the very explosion could have happened at the moment God said for it to happen. The age of the universe is often agued, but we know from the story of Adam and Eve that God created everything within a moment in time with aging already evident. Adam and Eve did not start as babies and neither did the universe. Tragically, humankind must be able to mathematically prove everything, or it is false. This concept is taught to most of us from an early age. The true meaning of Christmas and Easter takes a backseat so parents can motivate their children into believing in something magical, just to turn around and tell them it is false. This plants the seed of doubt in the unseen within every child as they reach maturity and begin to question the purpose of life.

As a follower of Christ one of the most valuable tools we can use to lead others to Christ is reflection. As we engage with others, we should always be aware of how Christ can reveal himself through our actions. The same tools the devil uses, God can use with higher precision and more fulfilling outcome. God can provide financial success in which money can be used to glorify Him while leading others to Christ. Sex is powerful in the art of deception, however, in marriage with the one that God made specially for you it is a beautiful connection. Drugs and alcohol are used to get high, but being with the Holy Ghost in worship within a room full of followers of Jesus is an experience that cannot be replicated by anything else. We must be patient in our interactions with others and truly evaluate their opinions with empathy. Be honest when speaking and request more time to collect facts, evidence, and an extensive analysis of any questions. The Word of God and prayer are the most effective tools a Christian can use in persuasion, maybe not for the individual or group you are speaking to, but for yourself as you seek understanding and knowledge from God to share with others. In John 14:18 (KJV) Jesus says, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” (Nelson)

We are excited to begin filming our first podcast this Spring. From the beginning of my rededication I have felt the power of the Holy Spirit leading me towards sharing the Word of God to others in a unique way. I have been singing and playing music for years and as soon as I started going back to church many thought for sure my ministry would be in the form of music. Someday in the future it might, if the will of God leads me in that direction. However, I have felt compelled to teach the world about Jesus Christ using today’s media platforms.

The world has plenty of garbage being sent out using the internet and other outlets. As Christians it is important to display the love and power of God using all resources available to combat the injustice, hypocrisy, blasphemy, and false teachings of societies around the globe. Our youth need to hear the Word of God and it is up to us to address this issue and help guide them to the name of Jesus.

It is with great honor to announce a few of the guests that will be on the show. With that being said, These individuals could change before we get to the end of filming. Life is busy and plans are subject to change due to the will of God. We will be sitting with Chance and Amanda Mullins to discuss ways to build a successful marriage and raise children within the teachings of Christ. We will speak to Rev. Doug McGee and his son Rev. Keith McGee about the most important topic of all, Salvation. It will also be a privilege to discuss music, secular and Christian with our special guests, American Idol contestants and Carolina Country Music Award winners, Dustin Chapman and Ryleigh Madison. We have more to be announced; if you pray about it and feel lead to be a guest on the show, please reach out to us.

We are working hard to begin releasing episodes by October 2024. Lord’s Willing.
